Her international debut resulted in another county record for Brighton's Lizzie Korczak, who has made something of a habit of improving her own previous best marks in recent weeks.
This fixture at Grangemouth was a result of Korkzac's javelin win at the English Schools Championships a week ago. Both she and ESAA shot silver medallist - Crawley's Millie Noyce - were selected to represent England Schools at the home countries u17 International in Scotland.
Here Korczak launched the javelin out to a massive 48.07m to beat opposition from Wales, Scotland and Ireland. Noyce was fourth in her event with 13.09m - another excellent performance.
Both girls made memorable international debuts and might be back to do the same again in 2019 as they have another year in the u17 age group.
