Harvey Curtis Road Race Challenge

The Harvey Curtis Sussex Road Race Challenge is a series of selected races chosen to encourage the best Sussex athletes to compete against each other. The aim being to promote, develop and reward competitive road racing among the county’s best distance runners.

The top 40 Sussex Athletics affiliated men and women score points once all non-Sussex-affiliated and unattached runners are discounted.

There are individual and team prizes awarded at the end of the series of races.

The Road Race Challenge is organised in association with Sussex Athletics. The financial and voucher prizes are sponsored by Harvey Curtis financial planners in partnership with Run sports shop.

The 2016 Race dates are as follows: 

Race 1: Chichester 10k – Sunday, 7th February

Race 2: Brighton Half Marathon – Sunday, 28th February

Race 3: Phoenix 10k – Wednesday, 13th July ( Also the Sussex 10k Championships) 

Race 4: Kings Head Canter 5k – Bank Holiday Monday, August 29th

Race 5: Bright10 – Sunday, October 16th

Race 6: Brighton 10k – November, date TBA.
